Chimera is a 4 minute mid tempo bass quartet that features a wide amount of colors and rithms. An introduction full of open harmonics, a very melodic first theme in a waltz like feeling and a Tango mid section full of energy and passion. Chimera is very often used in bass festivals by players of all levels, in smaller (quartet) or larger (up to 40 players) bass ensembles, very often a favorite by players and audiences.
